- Barcode- A code which is machine readable and identifies a product, usually found at the bottom of the page
- Contents page- Indicates what is inside the magazine and on which page.
- Font- The style of the typed writing.
- Sans serif- A style of type without serifs.
- Serif- A style of type with serifs.
- Headline- The heading at the top of the magazine.
- Drop cap- Where the first letter of the paragraph is enlarged.
- Puff- A block of colour on the front page with text on.
- Cover Line- Information about a major article given on the front page of a magazine.
- Tagline- The slogan of the magazine.
- Typography- The style and appearance of the text.
- Mast Head- A list usually found in the editorial page concerning staff.
- Body text font- The font style of the main part of the printed text.
- Rhetorical Question- A question asked which isn't meant to be answered.
- Style- The way that the magazine is written and presented.
